A rectangular Oil painting representational self-portrait of and by Nina Packer, head and shoulders taking up most of the canvas, she has dark hair pinned up with a grey stripe in the fringe, with an antique silver ottoman coin necklace. Painted from life the colours are muted, the brush strokes loose and she looks out of the canvas directly at the viewer.
